Is good restaurant in Doha ?
I am definitely a bad writer but I need keep doing this, so this time I want talk about one of my favorite subjects ... FOOD.
I looooove food and I have this special taste to find out the ingredients when I am eating something, that is the way I learn to cook, just tasting the food, now I think I am pretty good cooking some Latin/Mexican/Italian dishes.
I've been visiting some restaurants around the city and after few months here, I can say Doha has a great variety of places to eat, this are my favorites until now.
Neo.- We had sushi, the place and the food are great, but the service is terrible, the waiter can't explain the menu cause hardly they speak English and the prices are too expensive.
Le Notre.- Love the place, love the food, love the service, prices are affordable.
Paloma.- We went last night, I love Mexican food and everything about it was perfect, the nachos with dip, fajitas, enchiladas, guacamole, pico de gallo, beans, rice, mmm .... perfect. Service and prices are good.
crepe&Away.- I like the crepes but I can eat here every day, they don't have many options in the menu and also I find the place expensive, I still like it.
Caravan.- I love the menu and the possibility of choose between different kind of food, Japanese, Thai, Indian, Chinese and Filipino, is really good and cheap, never ate there we used the delivery service.
Nandos's.- Good chicken with herbs and the salad is awesome, cheap cheap cheap.
The Italian Job.- Very good food, good service, nice ambiance with life singers and good prices.
Ric's.- Love the American breakfast, the place is not nice but the muffins with gravy, meet, eggs, natural orange juice are really really good and cheap.
There is other places like Chili's and Friday's serving American food, prices are ok.
After been eating in Doha so much, we just decided start a " strict diet" with just grill food and salads, not big dinners and not coke ... ok, this will work maybe for one week so I am already thinking about the new places I want to go the next month and the options are Beto's (Argentina restaurant), Fauchon (French food), Tajine (Lebanese food) and The Great Wall (Chinese food).
